HRK Design was founded by interior designer Haniya Riaz-Khan.
Haniya’s eclectic and modern-meets-global approach to design is a reflection of her California upbringing and years spent traveling the world, admiring and learning about the architecture and design elements of various countries and cultures.
Her strong sense of color, balance, and proportion stems from an adolescence spent in rigorous and competitive art programs, as well as from the influence of her mother, a fine artist.
Prior to interior design, Haniya spent nearly a decade working in fashion, five years of which were at prestigious WME-IMG owned agency The Wall Group. Her background working with visionaries in the realm of editorial, advertising and celebrity, gave her unparalleled access to trendsetters and influencers in the design world.
When designing for her clients, Haniya understands the importance of marrying aesthetics with functionality. In addition to creating spaces that reflect her clients’ unique lives, tastes, and inspirations, she helps reorganize their homes and offices in a way that is streamlined and accessible, setting the foundation for a harmonious space and healthful life.
Haniya holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and studied Interior Design at Parsons, The New School for Design in New York, where she currently resides with her husband.
